05/02/10 BE GOD'S PROVISION

05/02/10 BE GOD'S PROVISION

IT IS GREAT to have qualified people (spiritual, skilled, servant minded) in charge of every area of ministry; music, outreach, recreation, fellowship, missions, social service, menial service, cross cultural, jail/prison, shepherding, senior citizens, youth, children.

How sad when people are not available or they won't come under authority or they are lone rangers or won't meet standards, SO SAD!

FACT...
GOD CAN GIVE US WHAT WE LACK, IF WE GIVE HIM WHAT WE HAVE.

Ministry is performed by individuals who want to serve God and other people more than they want to be served, but ministry is also the submissive and co-operative venture of people working together as a body of believers.

Even when the abilities are lacking, if there is AVAIL-ability the work of God can still go forward. God will give us what we lack, if we give Him what we have.

However, people do not AVAIL themselves of God's supply when they won't have the time or won't have the vision or won't have the humility or won't have the willingness or won't have the joy or the love. In this case the opposite of WILL, is, WON'T. When individuals WON'T, the the local church is impaired and a watching world is neglected.

No one has a right to criticize the ministry of a church if they are not doing all that they should. Those who are doing all that they should, with the proper attitude, are not critical of the church's ministry.

People want to be pampered and coddled and entertained or lauded and applauded.

WANTED... PEOPLE ADDICTED TO SERVING ONE ANOTHER...

1 Corinthians 16:15
15 I beseech you, brethren, ye (know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
