Sometimes it is said, "God Is In Control." Though there is truth in this statement, it is used erroneously. It is often said to convey the idea that all is well and we should not be concerned that the decadent, deplorable, destructive conditions in society are of any threat to the temporal or eternal well-being and destiny of those involved.
God Himself does not share that point of view. God's control allows for extensive (though limited) human & demonic horror. Beware of Presumption masquerading as Faith. We are to work with God through faith, not close our eyes to a world in trouble.
Trust God, Not Fate.
REMEMBER...
Not everything that happens in this life is good, though God in His wisdom, power and mercy causes everything to WORD TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THOSE THAT LOVE HIM (Ro.8:28).
God allows us to feel pain so that we will avoid or remove physical dangers.
If you have no sensation of pain, you can totally burn your hand on the stove, and not realize it until you smell the charred skin or see the hand engulfed in flames.
If you have no sensation of pain, an accidental cutting of your foot could cause you can bleed to death.
If you have no sensation of pain, any one of a multitude of physical disorders could kill you, before you even know that you need medical help.
God allows the tragedies of life to get our attention, so that we might act in faith, not presumption, by saying, "Don't pay attention to the problems of life, God is in control."
Since God knows the end from the beginning, He has devised a plan whereby our faith response to the problems of life will contribute to a more godly and positive resolution. Our failure to respond through faith will contribute to the deleterious outcome. Do not trust determinism or have faith in fatalism.
I know God is in control, but I know He has called me to labor together with Him.
1 Corinthians 3:8-10
8 Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 For we are laborers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon.
2 Corinthians 6:1
1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 Corinthians 5:18-20
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Romans 15:30
30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
2 Corinthians 1:10-11
10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
