06/29/10 ABSURD? THINK ABOUT IT.
OK, based on Obama's view of America, his disdain for our history and superiority among the nations of the world, his pandering to Islam, his deliberate choice to not provide national defense and protect our borders and his penchant for taking government control of American businesses, maybe the following comment is how he would have responded to 9/11, if he had been President at that time.
If Obama had known that there was an attack under way, he would have warned Americans to stay out of tall buildings in large cities, but he would not have taken action against the terrorists themselves, because he would not accept the idea of terrorism and he really does not care about protecting Americans.
Had the attacks been foiled, Obama would have welcomed the terrorists to America by saying, “I hope you had a nice flight, and I am sorry for those ugly Americans who roughed you up. But you can rest assured, legal action will be taken against them.”
If the attacks had been successful, as they were, Obama would have apologized to the Islamic world for the unfriendly welcome they received in New York and for those who interrupted the travel plans of flight 93 over Pennsylvania, and he would have promised to sue the families of those who sacrificed their lives in preventing another target from being hit by the terrorists.
He would have pushed a stimulus plan that would pay for more flight training for known radical extremists, and would have allowed them to remain in America after their visas had expired.
He would have taken control of the Airline industry and directed US Marshals to stop Americans from interfering with international travelers (especially from Islamic and Hispanic countries) who were taking over the controls of a plane.
I know this is absurd, but I am basing it on what Obama is actually doing as President in the post 9/11 world. Who would have believed his present actions?
