07/08/10 "BIBLICAL PERFECTION

07/08/10 "BIBLICAL PERFECTION

The problem has not been that "BIBLICAL PERFECTION" was preached.

The problem has either been
that it was not preached, or
that it was erroneously preached (saying that It is attained by human effort and legalism), or
that it was preached but not lived, or
that it was preached as a goal for which to strive, or
that it was preached but not reachable in this life, or
that it was preached only as an altar experience, rather than an essential and a life.

It is an essential, attainable and livable, work of grace.
In fact, IT IS SALVATION.

BIBLICAL PERFECTION, PERSONAL AND CORPORATE...

Luke 6:40
40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

1 Corinthians 1:10
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

2 Corinthians 13:9
9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

2 Corinthians 13:11
11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Ephesians 4:12
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Colossians 1:28-29
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29 Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

1 Peter 5:10
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

Hebrews 13:21
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
