Church and Personal Power lost because believers reject God's appointed authority. Two reasons.
1. Leaders have abused their position by leading astray.
2. Humans do not want to submit.
Choose Leaders Carefully and Obey them.
Cultists follow blindly, while some "Christians" fail to follow.
They both miss the mark.

t of that church and find a pastor and church that are Biblical.
A Biblical pastor is Born of the Spirit, Spirit called, Spirit filled, Spirit led, Spirit enlightened, Spirit empowered and Spirit gifted. If your pastor does not have these qualities, get out and get a Biblical pastor.
A Biblical pastor Knows the word of God and Shows the word of God.
A Biblical pastor is a Biblical follower (he follows God fully).
A Biblical pastor leads by love, not by law.
A Biblical pastor knows how to submit as well as how to rule. He submits to God, and to the flock, provided he does not compromise God's word or God's commands in his own life.
A Biblical pastor is a servant shepherd, not a domineering demigod.
This concept is not man's idea, it is God's idea. It cannot be improved or changed, it can only be accepted or rejected.

Be sure to be in a church with spiritual leaders.
Keep your mind on your leadership.
Leaders have the Right to Rule, Command, Direct the church.
Parishioners have the Responsibility to Obey, Submit and Follow legitimate leadership.
Legitimate Leaders Preach and Teach the Word of God. This is in studies, worship, counseling and witnessing, both private and public.
Each service should be approached with anticipation. Believers need to come with open hearts, heads and hands. They should also come with baskets of blessings to share with other people; love, music, testimony, as well as material provision for those in need. (Also support for pastor, but I will address that is not my focus at this time.)
Follow the leaders Example, not just his Exhortation (his walk, not just his talk).
“Conversation” should be understood to mean their conduct, manner of life, behavior.
Hebrews 13:17
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Parishioners are to obey, yield, follow, submit to those who have rule, command, authority over them in the church.
Pastors have the responsibility to watch, care for your soul.
Pastors will give account for the way they watched or cared for peoples souls.
You can make the pastors job joyful or miserable.
The more joyful you make your pastor, the better off you will be when you face God.
Be a blessing to your pastor, not a burden to him, or it could be costly.
1 Peter 5:5-6
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Wisdom, dignity and authority go with age.
Younger show proper respect to Christian elders.
All Christians should seek unity of purpose and mind and make sacrifices in order to attain them.
Humility is essential to Biblical submission. Pride destroys relationships and lives.
God resists the proud, but gives grace to the Humble.
Do not think more highly of yourself than you ought to think.
Be like Christ, Who humbled Himself.

Children are to submit to parents.
Parishioners are to submit to pastors.

There is Christian rule in the Church.
