Do not listen to,
believe in,
trust,
follow or
obey
the counsel of anyone who does not believe it is possible to live a godly life.
God said, Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly.
Why would anyone listen to a person who does not believe we can be godly?
Don't let sinning religionists teach you, counsel you or shepherd you.
They'll mislead you.
Psalms 1:1
(1) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
