07/27/10 SPORTAPHORS We Need Coaches
(spiritual metaphors from sports).
We all need coaches. I am a fair athlete, and at 63 I play a fairly good game. Yet I know I could play a better game if a coach would watch my game and help me: tell me what not to do; what to do, and how to do it better; what to forsake, what to adopt.
God has given us life coaches, called pastors.
Coaches need to be qualified, team mates need to follow direction.
