Vile language and perverse behavior use to be the domain of low class males, but now it seems to be the norm for young females in our society. Profanity, obscenities, crude talk, and wicked communications of every sort spew from nasty hearted females. It is wrong for both genders, but more unseemly in those who have been the champions and guardians of refinement.
Federal money should be given to parents who are raising their daughters to be LADIES, because they are an endangered species.
I Remember...
This happened on a miserable, freezing, rainy winter day in the late 1970s near Cleveland, Ohio.
As we waited for the traffic light to change, I glanced across the street and saw a woman attendant pumping gas for a customer. It was a strange sight, since women did not usually do that kind of work. It was also at a time when there was a commercial that aimed smoking advertisements at women, with the slogan, "You've Come A Long Way Baby."
I looked at this woman, trying to do her job, while turning from the cutting wind and freezing rain, now doing the job that a man traditionally did, and I said to those in my car, "Yeah, You've come a long way baby." Today there is nothing that a woman cannot do, even in the area of the raunchy.
I don't believe females should be used or abused or demeaned. HOWEVER, there are God given differences between males and females and those differences should be maintained and celebrated. A female should be taught, encouraged and honored to be a lady and be feminine.
Young women are now led to believe that being a woman, being feminine, being a lady is demeaning. Now we have sewer mouthed girls, bed hopping tramps and lesbian perverts as the role models for young girls.
Yeah, You've Come A Long Way Baby.
BTW, this is not about women pumping gas in a service station.
