12/09/10 HOPE FOR ALL
Folks woke up this morning & gave thanks to God that He chose to give them salvation, joy, peace, love, grace, hope, faith & eternal life. They believe they are the unconditionally elect; then tell others, God does not want to save everyone. How convenient for those who believe such a notion! How nice to be one of the 144,000 (wink wink). GOOD NEWS, Jesus sacrificed for everyone. Believe & be saved from sin & hell.
HOPE FOR ALL MY CHILDREN, AND YOURS...
I am glad to know that God wants to save my children, all of my children. I am glad to know that He has called me to be a co-worker with Him in reaching them, and others who are lost, who will otherwise remain lost if they do not hear the gospel. While they must have personal faith in Christ, I must tell them the Good News. (Please read all verses, but focus on verses marked with *.
2 Corinthians 6:1-2
* (1) We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
(2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
Romans 10:9-17
(9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
(10) For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(11) For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.
(12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
(13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
* (14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
* (15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
(16) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
(17) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2 Corinthians 5:17-20
(17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
* (18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
* (19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
* (20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
1 Timothy 4:10
* (10) For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those that believe.
Colossians 1:28-29
* (28) Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
* (29) Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.
