Our world is so self sufficient that few people hunger and thirst for Divine knowledge, wisdom & enlightenment, making themselves into targets for Satan's attacks.
God's word protects, enlightens, strengthens and delivers from Satan's destructive influences, but most church people resist, reject and renounce those people who are uncompromising in their faith, thus the status of our present society.
SHARING TIME IN SS CLASS...
We discussed the deceptions (sodomy, Islam, oppression, wicked conversation, etc) being foisted on us and the methods being used to accomplish the dark agenda (govt. influence, media, racism, political correctness, public schools). There is nothing new under the sun, including the ways that these lies are imposed on people. As the tribes of Israel cycled through rebellion and repentance for decades under the Judges, so people today fall for the same tricks of Satan.
The further each generation gets from Biblical faith and practice, the more easily they are ensnared.
I pointed out that the younger believers should be learning from the older believers. I drew from one of my intended Sportaphors; the initiate or novice should learn from the veteran. There is more victory for those who are willing learners and for those who give their best for the cause of Christ.
I also referred to posts I had made during the past week, leading to today's lesson.

I was just thinking; if you start your life as a Peacock, you will probably be a Turkey by the time you are a young adult and finish your days as an old Buzzard. Do not Duck God's call on your life, take a Gander at the Gospel and Tern your life over to Jesus.

Here is how it works. Satan, through his minions, sends wave after wave of abominations, while chiding, attacking, humiliating whoever resists or decries. People are overwhelmed and intimidated, silently dropping their opposition. Thus, the Obama administration comes in like a flood of human waste, and pollutes the land.

Years ago, when I lifted my voice against government intrusion and a TWO HEADED CHURCH, people laughed at me and said I was preaching ISSUES. Actually, I was preaching that there is only One Head to the Church, and His Name is Jesus.
Today, society is being bombarded by a plethora of issues and overwhelmed by a pagan society gone mad, not to mention a supposed Christian community that devours its own in the name of tolerance.
