11/12/10 WEDNESDAY SERVICE... ADDRESSED FOUR MINISTRY ISSUES

11/12/10 WEDNESDAY SERVICE... ADDRESSED FOUR MINISTRY ISSUES
(basic direction of lesson)

* Be Instant, In Season & Out Of Season (2 Tm. 4:1-5).
* Believers have the Keys To The Kingdom (Mt. 16:18-19);
* The Secret Of God (Ps. 25:14);
* Ministry Of Reconciliation (2 Co. 5:18-19).

God gives everyone TALENTS (natural abilities), acquired either inherently or intentionally (study/practice). God gives believers GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT (spiritual tools). Still, people reject the truth.

In Season and Out of Season
2 Timothy 4:1-5

(1) I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
(2) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
(3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
(4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
(5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Keys To The Kingdom
Matthew 16:18-19

(18) And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
(19) And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Secret Of God
Psalms 25:14

(14) The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.

Proverbs 3:31-32
(31) Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
(32) For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.

Ministry Of Reconciliation
2 Corinthians 5:18-19

(18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
(19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
