09/27/10 GAINING WISDOM...
I am working on a couple of very demanding studies, but I wanted to share a few thoughts that came to me concerning GAINING WISDOM...
How much more could be accomplished, if each succeeding generation built upon the successes and accomplishments of the preceding generations?
How much more could be accomplished if the proceeding generation would not secede from the preceding generation?
How much further would we be if we started where our predecessors finished?
It is a shame that each generation of spiritual leaders thinks it must reinvent the wheel of truth. If they had learned from the fathers, they would be further down the road.
There was a time when the young learned from the aged. Even today it happens in the material world, but seldom in the spiritual realm.
Wisdom is not discovered by ignoring OLD SCHOOL, but by weighing and testing its claims.
