03/07/10 CONTRADICTIONS

03/07/10 CONTRADICTIONS

Let me see;
It is
OK for folks to say God does not love the whole world, but I have bad attitude when I insist He does;
OK to say Jesus did not die for everyone's sins, but I am unloving by insisting He did;
OK to say sin does not separate from God, but I am narrow when I say it does;
OK to mock God's plan of salvation, but I am divisive by quoting Scripture.

BTW, this ain't about me; Just think about it.

I do not have to know everything about God's word to know the word of God teaches;
God loved the whole world;
Jesus is the propitiation for the sins of the whole world;
Salvation is conditional upon faith, confession, repentance & obedience;
God separates from sin & sin separates from God;
God does not unilaterally save some & abandon others to eternal torment;
God created free will.

So, no, I'll never calm down.

ROMANS 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Don't be confused, I am not bringing division to the Body of Christ when I state Biblical truth. There is no reason to be divided over basic doctrine, because it is clear. Satan is the author of confusion. The issues I have addressed concerning Calvinism are not innocuous. God is clear. Calvinism is a damnable heresy, because it contradicts God concerning the principles of salvation. I love Calvinists, I hate sinning religion that denies human responsibility. Don't get upset with me, I am crying out in love and contending for the faith of the Bible.

I am not looking for an argument, I am offering a response to a lie. I do not post on my page to be argued with, I post to encourage those who are open to my witness. I do not visit my friend's pages to argue with them when I disagree with them, so they do not have to do that with me. If a person does not like what I say, don't read it, or ignore it.

BTW...
God's plan of salvation and Paul's statement in Romans 1:16 (along with the rest of the New Testament revelation of God's salvation plan) declares that the Gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation TO EVERYONE THAT BELIEVES.

ROMANS 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Actually, this statement is in the PRESENT ACTIVE PARTICIPLE. In other words, believing must be PRESENTLY ACTIVE for the Power of God's Salvation to be in effect.

In fact, Paul said that we should examine, test ourselves to see if we are IN THE FAITH, whether we are true Christians or not.

2 CORINTHIANS 13:5
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

There is a self examination, an examination of our own life of faith, which will reveal our relationship with God. We should subject ourselves to such a test, trial, proof, otherwise we could find ourselves reprobate, cast away, rejected.

Believing in Christ and believing the truth about Christ are essential to NOT BECOMING A REPROBATE.
