04.03/10 OF ALL MEN

04.03/10 OF ALL MEN

I believe the Bible when it says, in various ways and several places, "God... is the Savior of all men." Every pre-born, new born and very young child is covered by the atonement, because, "...of such is the kingdom of God," When we become accountable for our own sins, we must believe in order to be saved. Jesus died and rose again to save children. Reach them before 8 years of age.

PASSAGES and a THOUGHT...
1 Timothy 4:10

For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those that believe.

Mark 10:14
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

DON'T WAIT 'TILL 8, IT MAY BE TOO LATE...

Someone asked if the age of accountability is 12 years.
GOOD QUESTION...

Studies in child evangelism point out that a large percentage of people who get saved and remain faithful are saved around 8 or 9 years of age. These studies also point out that it is more difficult to reach them when they get older. I would think especially in this generation.

Actually, there is no official age of accountability. That is something between God and the individual. The age of 12 probably comes from the Jewish idea of a boy becoming a man at 12. This is why we should be trying to reach them from the time they are born.

I say, reach them as early as possible, for a couple of reasons.

1. It is harder to reach people as they get older.
2. The younger they are when they get saved, the less impact a sinful life will have on them.

I am getting ready to post a NOTE on childhood salvation. I think you will find it interesting.
