1/18/10 Dear Muslim, Please Consider

Dear Muslim, Please Consider
If Islam truly honors Jesus of the Bible, then
* ISLAM should accept Christ's claim to Deity, as both God and Son of God, BUT IT DOES NOT.
* ISLAM should accept Christ's Sacrificial Death on the Cross, BUT IT DOES NOT.
* ISLAM should accept Christ's Resurrection from the Dead, BUT IT DOES NOT.

You are being robbed of the true Jesus (virgin born, Divine, crucified, raised from dead), and salvation.

1. JESUS IS GOD; JESUS IS SON OF GOD
A person can believe whatever he chooses to believe, but the history and truth of Jesus is found in the Bible. Any writing that contradicts the Bible is in error.

The following are verses where Christ made claims to His Own Deity or where other people recognized His Deity, which He never denied.

1a. JESUS IS GOD...
JOHN 1:1-3, 14

1 In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word (Jesus) was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was God.
2 The same (Jesus) was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him (Jesus); and without him (Jesus) was not any thing made that was made.
14 And the Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his (Jesus') glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

JOHN 20:28
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him (Jesus), My Lord and my God.

PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

COLOSSIANS 2:9
9 For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

HEBREWS 1:8
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.
